Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what SocratronAI (M/S TextAve Software) collects, why we collect it, and how you can request deletion or export of your data.

1. What we collect

• Account data: email address, authentication tokens, plan/subscription status
• Study content: uploaded files (e.g. PDFs), pasted text, library selections, generated summaries/notes/flashcards/quizzes, and study chat / Snap conversation history
• Usage & security: approximate usage metrics, rate-limit counters, IP / user-agent on auth events where needed for security
• Payments: handled by Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record). We store subscription identifiers and status; we do not store full card numbers

2. Why we use data

• Provide and improve study features you request
• Authenticate you and protect accounts
• Enforce free-tier limits and paid entitlements
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with law and prevent abuse

We do not sell your uploads or personal data.

3. AI processing

To generate study outputs, relevant text (and Snap images when you use that feature) is sent to AI providers we configure. Do not upload secrets you are not comfortable processing in that way.

4. Retention & deletion

We keep account and study data while your account is active. To request account deletion or a copy of your data, email [email protected] from your account email. We will respond within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days).

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and CSRF protection. These are required for the Service to function.

6. Security

We use HTTPS in production, authenticated APIs, and industry-standard practices for session cookies. No method of transmission is 100% secure.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child provided us data, contact [email protected].
